Sooooo where was all this concern about privacy and internet sleuthing when the Legion 52 Part TikTok story came out? I feel like a lot of this thumb twiddling is because the abuser is a woman in this case. People see her and don’t see a threat. They feel pity for her just as Gadd did in the beginning. But she is a threat, and she has done terrible things to Gadd and other people.

The fact that she's sacrificed her anonymity to become a celebrity feels like the exact sort of move I would expect from how the show depicted her. I can't stand the sight of Piers Moron, so I haven't watched the interview, but I can only imagine what it must feel like to see her becoming a recognisable face and milking it for her own benefit. It's about power. He got to tell his own story, but even keeping her name out of it, she couldn't let him have that power. Classic abuser stuff.

As an Italian most of the American musical can’t be seen here for obvious reason and I studied the wizard of oz at school so I know that story, but recently I discovered the wicked musical too and I’ve learnt it’s a different thing etc I think it’s cool to finally create a movie out of it, I can learn the story of wicked finally. 😊

Read the book and understand McGuires point. His was not a prequel it was to turn the story on its head. He decided he would show what was going on right before Dorothy arrived. And to show people what you see may not be what is reality. When I was 12 we went on a school trip to see wicked and apparently my lungs can’t handle smoke machines so I started choking , at the point I felt like I was going to pass out I got a death stare from Glinda ( this was just after the big sparkly dress lower down thing ) and I was genuinely terrified. Just imagine being being a kid in a big city without your parents, then suddenly you can’t breathe and a bedazzled woman handing from the sealing look like she’s going to rip your spine out.

I watched Baby Reindeer, it was an uncomfortable watch for me even though I really like true crime. I understand the importance of the story, but I was really frustrated with Richard throughout the show. Mostly with how he handled Martha situation - with his actions and lack of communication he endangered a lot of good people around him. He is aware of it in the show, but that doesn't make it easier for me to completely be on his side. A big part of his story is telling the viewers that he felt sorry for Martha, and that he viewed her as a very mentally ill woman. His empathy for Martha is highlighted in the last episode. Yet with all these things considered, he still barely did anything to hide her identity. Why not at least cast an actress who looks very different? Which makes me question one of the main points of his show. Did he REALLY feel sorry for her? Or was he really just so naive in thinking that no one will try to figure out her real identity and contact her? Or perhaps he felt sorry about her at the time, but that empathy ran dry over the years. I also watched the interview with Fiona, and it was for sure very cringey. There were tons of inconsistencies, and she was definitely lying. But hey, Richard seemed to understand her really well, was it not a predictable outcome that she would speak out after seeing the show? I mean come on. I understand people have no sympathy for her, but I don't know how moral this is honestly
